Another day, another goal

Another day, another goal
My photo in Machupichi

Certainly! Machu Picchu is one of the most breathtaking and awe-inspiring wonders of the world. It's no surprise that anyone who has the opportunity to visit this ancient Incan city would be overjoyed.

Visiting Peru - more than just a goal

I am Panamanian but my family is from Peru. I have never had the opportunity to visit Peru before, so the first time is special.

This time I am going with my family, and I feel really happy to be able to do so at my 21 years old.

I felt a little

Packing

I took some advice from Peter Levels, to pack my bag.

Althought I didn´t follow it to the letter.

I follow the clothing advice tho.

  • 7 Uniqlo Airism underwear (best underwear evar)
  • 7 Uniqlo pair of socks
  • 1 white blouse shirt (for formal stuff)
  • 1 Uniqlo navy pants (for formal stuff)
  • 1 Uniqlo navy shorts, 1 white shorts (doubles as swimming shorts)
  • 1 Uniqlo white t-shirt, 1 black t-shirt, 1 grey t-shirt

You can replace de Uniqlo brand from another combination of brands

About electronics I included this

  • Laptop HP for working remotely
  • Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro
  • Logitech Simple Mouse
  • Digital Camera Sony ZV 1

For my next travels I will ensure to pack a keyboard and a laptop stand, I am struggling a little with ergonomics.

The bag ideas were incredible

Our Schedule

2 days in Lima

4 Days in Cusco

6 days in Arequipa

Incredible food

I had the opportunity to eat tasty and delicious food

Tallarin Saltado, one of my favorite dishes

The food is not that expensive but certainly isn't cheap.

Buying things

I got some poncho (the cool thing I am wearin)

Machupíchu with the family

I got some gloves, a coat, some lapislazuli thing at it was excellent

Final thoughts

I got the rest of the photos on my camera. But I think that the travel was really worth it.

I commit a lot of mistakes while chooing hotels, choosing travels, they charge me baggage even when I thought it was carry-on baggage.

Cusco is so big, I just jog a little and my heart rate increases to 120bpm, I got tired faster than I thought.

Cusco and Arequipa are really cold, and my apartments didn't have heating.

I didn't find many places to exchange dollars for soles, but is ok.

Yappe is incredible, easy way to buy services.

I have been working remotely while doing this trip and it was quite stressful. But the experience serves me for future trips.
