This is my setup

This is my setup

This is an article I really love to publish because I think it will be very important, not just for me to remember what I use but for other people as well. You may have other workflows, tools, etc that you love, and that's fine.

I have analyzed my time in rescuetime also I analyze my goals, and now I know some things need to change

This will be divided into IDEs, design and composition software, office software, calendars, blog, video creation, everything that needs to get done, music production, etc.

Also, I will lay down my setup that I currently use.

For me, it is really essential because I need to improve my time management in order to work and study, so I need to make my best.

So pretty much my workflow depends on the day.

I am currently a computer science student that makes a lot of research on his own.

University is taking a lot of my time, and now I want to work? Things will go messy if i don't organize well.

So this is my take.

  • Limit my communication on meetings: ok this is hard but with tools like loom, clickup i will do it, i bet.
  • Workflows for the big 2: Software development, Design and Composition: these are my main areas to focus this 2022. I have some ideas of workflows like improve my computer, my setup, get a new monitor, try to be at home as much as I can, etc, focus mode.
  • English: This is one of my favorite takes, i will try to listen, read, write and speak in English as much as i can. So i will see all my courses in English, i will all my books in English, i will write my articles in English and i will learn to rap, you guess it, in English.

Workflow 1: Software development

Ok software development is though, so i will have at a minimum 31 hours of software engineer on my month (that´s 7 hours per week, 1 hour per day). It´s true that not always is necessary for me to code, but i will make my best to do it.

For concentrate, i will use calm as my primary music site.

i will schedule #focustime in my calendar, it will synchro with slack so my teammates know i am working. Also i will try to make a public calendar so people could see my focus sessions
